Cookie Policy

1. What Cookies Are
Cookies are small text files that a website saves in your browser when you visit it. They remember your choices, keep the site working properly and help measure how it is used. slotrave-casino.com (the “Website”) also uses the browser’s local storage (localStorage), which keeps small pieces of information on your device in a similar way but does not send them to the server with every request. On this page, cookies and localStorage entries are together called “cookies”.
2. The Rules We Follow
Visitors in Ireland are covered by the ePrivacy Regulations 2011 (S.I. 336/2011) together with the GDPR. Under those rules, information may be stored on your device or read from it only with your consent, and consent is not required for cookies that are strictly necessary to deliver the service you asked for. We follow the cookie guidance published by the Data Protection Commission: non-essential cookies run only after you accept them in the banner, we say what we set and why, and our Privacy Policy also applies.
3. The Cookies We Use
The Website keeps its cookie list deliberately short; the same set is served to every reader in Ireland:
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| cookie_consent | Strictly necessary (first-party, localStorage) | Records whether you accepted or rejected cookies in the banner, so you are not asked again on every page. | 12 months |
| Session / security | Strictly necessary (first-party) | Keeps the Website working and secure during your visit, including protection against abusive automated traffic. | Session (deleted when you close the browser) |
| Preferences | Functional (first-party) | Remembers choices you make on the Website, such as the language version or display settings, so they stay the same on your next visit. | Up to 12 months |
| Analytics | Optional (only with your consent) | Not currently used. If analytics is introduced, it will count aggregated page visits and will run only after you accept it in the cookie banner. | Not currently set; would be listed here if introduced |
The Website does not use advertising, profiling or cross-site tracking cookies. If new cookies are introduced, this page and the cookie banner will be updated first, and consent will be requested for anything that is not strictly necessary.
4. Your Choice — the Cookie Banner
The first time you open the Website, a banner gives you a plain choice — Accept or Reject — with the two options shown side by side and given equal weight, as the Data Protection Commission expects. Strictly necessary cookies run either way, because the Website cannot work properly without them, and they serve no commercial purpose. Everything else waits for Accept. Your answer is kept in the cookie_consent entry for 12 months, after which the banner asks again; clearing the Website’s data (see section 5) brings it back sooner.
5. Managing Cookies in Your Browser
You can view, block or delete cookies (including localStorage) in your browser settings:
- Google Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Third-party cookies / Site settings → Cookies and site data.
- Mozilla Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data.
- Safari: Settings → Privacy → Manage Website Data.
- Microsoft Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions → Manage and delete cookies and site data.
Each browser maker also publishes step-by-step instructions. Blocking all cookies can stop parts of the Website from working — for example, it will no longer remember that you have already answered the cookie banner.
6. Third Parties
Information stored by our own cookies is not shared with third parties. When static files such as scripts or style sheets are delivered through a third-party content delivery network (CDN), that provider may technically process your IP address in order to serve the file; such processing is governed by the provider’s own privacy policy, and any international transfer for which we are responsible is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.
7. Complaints
If you think our use of cookies is wrong, contact us first at support@slotrave.com so we can fix it. Readers in Ireland may also complain to the Data Protection Commission (DPC); visitors elsewhere, to their own authority.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy to reflect changes in the law, regulatory guidance or the technologies used by the Website. The current version is always published on this page, with the date of the latest update shown at the top.
9. Contact
For questions about cookies, or about how we handle personal data in general, write to support@slotrave.com. See also our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
